Before you create your custom QR code
Do these QR codes expire?
Final downloaded codes contain your destination URL directly. They do not rely on a Dotwoven redirect and keep working independently of our service, including after subscription cancellation. Your destination website must remain available.
Can I change the link after downloading?
These are static QR codes: the link is encoded in the artwork. To use a different destination, create a new design and replace the previous QR image.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG is useful for sharing and placing in digital layouts. SVG keeps the artwork as vectors for resizing in design and print workflows. Keep enough clear space around the code and test the final output.
Does every logo scan well?
Logo detail, contrast, and print size affect readability. Dotwoven checks generated codes with common decoders, but those checks cannot guarantee every camera or print condition. Test on real devices before printing a batch.
Is Dotwoven free?
Design previews are free. Final PNG and SVG downloads require a paid design credit. Both styles and repeat downloads are included. See pricing and credit options.
Where can I use a branded QR code?
Link a business card to your portfolio, product packaging to a product page, or a table card to an online menu. The destination must be a website URL; use a logo you have permission to use.
